Well-liked, flavorful French heritage celery. The green, robust stalks that form the rosette have a nutty flavor, a crisp, sensitive texture, and are almost entirely stringless. To ensure that the celery seed germinates, cover it only slightly. To prevent greening, pile soil up at the base of the plants as they grow, much like you would with leeks. Celery loves deep, well-drained soil and has consistent moisture levels.
