Easy Passionfruit Syrup Recipe
This simple passionfruit syrup is a great sauce for ice cream, yoghurt or pavlova. It also makes a great base for fruity summer cocktails. With just 3 ingredients it is very easy to make and when stored in an airtight container in the fridge it will keep for 4 to 5 weeks.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw passionfruit pulp with seeds (about 20 fresh passionfruit’s)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Method:
- Scoop the pulp from your fresh passionfruit until you have 1 cup worth including seeds.
- In a pot mix the sugar and water and bring up to a simmer to combine. This needs to be stirred constantly to prevent the sugar from sticking or burning.
- Once the sugar and water is completely combined add your passionfruit pulp. This can be done with or without the seeds depending on your preference. To separate the seeds pass the pulp through a sieve making sure to push as much of the pulp and juice through as possible.
- bring the mix up to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
- Let it cool and store in a sterilized mason jar or glass bottle in the fridge.
